THE REINVENTION OF TV3 
TV3 is a channel for all New Zealanders, commercially targeting AP 25-54 years.  Brand Research revealed that the show brands were loved and understood, but the channel brand wasn’t.  The challenge then was to present the brand in a completely new way that reflected  the “vibrant”, “inspiring” and “playful” content of TV3. 
The new logo needed to adapt to every TV3 show, while remaining instantly recognisable. It had to unite everything under one umbrella - making the brand larger than the sum of its parts. Equally as successful on drama as it would be on a reality series.  The way the logo would operate in motion was critical for audience enjoyment and to communicate the brand personality. It needed to look like it was having fun!
